TOWARDS A CIRCULAR NO-WASTE ECONOMY

Bright minds:

YERRAWA is a new initiative of a dynamic small group of creative innovators who have been active in the space of renewables since 2005 (Prior projects: BIOeCON, KiOR, ANTECY, CELLICON).

YERRAWA’s focus is to contribute to the transition towards a circular no-waste economy by developing and commercializing technology to convert all types of organic wastes such as waste biomass, plastics and/or oil wastes into valuable Hydrogen rich gas and high-quality Carbon materials.

The team is small but with all the essential capabilities (“Mission Impossible” concept) to invent, explore and develop new breakthrough technologies.

With disruptive ideas:

YERRAWA is developing a novel catalytic technology called Carbon Plus to carbonize wastes such as waste biomass, plastics and/or oil wastes into valuable Hydrogen rich gas and high-quality Carbon materials.

The Carbon Plus technology has resulted from a fusion of our knowledge and experience in several areas and key patented inventions.

To cool the planet:

With YERRAWA’s Carbon Plus technology it will become possible to convert all types of organic wastes into Hydrogen rich gas and high-quality Carbon materials. This instead of burning these wastes as happens now which is causing a lot of CO2 emissions. So YERRAWA’s technology will reduce CO2 to “Cool the planet” and produce valuable Carbon products making it the most cost-effective way to reduce Global warming.

Why we support:

As techies say, “garbage in, garbage out.” In these complicated times, it’s critical that decision-makers, communicators, and citizens alike have access to a knowledge base with the sophistication and credibility needed to support smart, cutting-edge policies.

Funding:

500.000 Euro; 355.000 Euro from CarbonFix and 145.000 Euro private funded.

Duration:

1.5 year to establish proof-of-concept and new patents; thereafter additional funding for further development by grants, investors and/or EU/NL subsidies.
